frequently asked questions
Can I claim my private health fund rebate on my session?
Yes you can for massage and cupping. Remedial sessions are claimable, however Bowen Therapy is not currently claimable. Just remember to bring your membership card and you can claim the rebate on the spot through HICAPS and just pay the balance.
I'm not sure which therapy would be best for me?
No problem. When you book in, just let me know in the booking notes or when we speak and we can discuss your needs, desired outcome, and make a decision on the day as to which treatment would be best for you.
What oil do you use for massage?
Generally we use sweet almond oil though we have others available such as jojoba and hemp seed oil. We use our signature aromatherapy massage oil blends infused with quality essential oils to create a calm scent which is nourishing for your skin. If you have an allergy, let us know when booking and we can have a suitable oil ready for your session.
Is your studio accessible by wheelchair?
Yes, there is parking at the clinic and wheelchair access to all rooms including the bathroom.
Can I bring my child to my appointment?
Yes, we love kids! If you would like them in during the session thats ok, just be mindful that it may make relaxing challenging. Older kids are welcome to wait in our waiting room.
I'm a highly sensitive person, is your clinic loud or bright?
We completely understand the needs of Highly Sensitive People (HSP) and those with Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD).
We aim to meet each persons needs so they get the most out of the session. Please let us know when booking what your individual needs are.
How many sessions will I need before I feel better?
Everyones needs vary, depending on what they may be experiencing. At your appointments we discuss your current situation and desired outcome and decide a plan together. We aim to help resolve your issues as best we can, so just be open to ongoing treatments if needed.
